Mountain Biking
For the pleasure mountain bikers, there are many opportunities in Filzmoos with cycle routes clearly marked in blue on the tour map.
For the more enthusiastic cyclist there is the Dachstein Tour which covers 173 kms. If covered fully this would take several days to complete. The tour takes you over three provinces: Salzburg, Upper Austria and Styria. The tour is spectacular as you always have the Dachstein mountain range in view and get to see it from all sides.

Mountain Hiking and Climbing
Mountain Hiking and Climbing for all levels and abilities is available. One and more day hikes can be taken as well as adventure hiking and hiking courses.

Walking
Filzmoos is the perfect place for all your walking and hiking holidays. Experience the Dachstein Glacier crossing, the Alpine Flower Walk, the Sunrise Walk or the Gourmet-Walk -“Krapfenhatscher”. There are more than 200 km of walking paths from easy mountain walks to advanced mountain walks, rambling or climbing.
A daily guided walking programme based on a rolling two week programme is available with local experienced mountain guides, as part of a group or a private guide can be hired to meet your own personal requirements.

The diversity of the mountain landscape in and around the area offer the horse rider all variations and levels of difficulty for a good ride out. Well signposted bridle paths with numerous places to stop guarantee you a perfect riding experience. Bridle paths are clearly marked in yellow on the tour map which is available from the Tourist Office in Filzmoos.
Fly Fishing
Crystal clear mountain streams full of trout make the perfect setting for every angler.
Fishing is available from the Hotel Hubertus in Filzmoos who own a total of 45kms of fishing waters.

Filzmoos Leisure Centre
Filzmoos has its own leisure centre with indoor and outdoor swimming pools and is within 5 minutes walk from Haus Lowe.
