Walking
Filzmoos is the perfect place for all your walking
and hiking holidays. Experience the Dachstein Glacier crossing, the Alpine
Flower Walk, the Sunrise Walk or the Gourmet-Walk -“Krapfenhatscher”. There are
more than 200 km of walking paths from easy mountain walks to advanced mountain
walks, rambling or climbing.
Our Summer
2008 Walking Package
For Summer 2008, Haus Lowe is offering a special
walking package to include:
· 7 Nights Accommodation with Breakfast in a double room with private WC/Shower
· 3 guided walks with Filzmoos Aktiv, the outdoor centre of Filzmoos i.e:
1 set walk on Monday called the “Welcome Walk” During this free Welcome Walk,
the walking
guides tell you all about the area. Guests can choose between a blue
or red level. Approx
walking duration 3 or 4 hours.
Plus 2 free walks of your choice off a programme marked with the blue symbol
from Tuesday
to Friday. (See below)
· Nordic Walking Introductory Course on Tuesday afternoon at 4.00 pm where you
will be
shown the basic techniques of Nordic Walking, including the use of
poles. Duration 1.5 hours.
· Free use of the village Wanderbus.

all taxes and charges.
There is also a €5.00 reduction off any other activity on the Filzmoos Aktiv
programme.

A daily guided walking programme based on a rolling
two week programme is available with
local experienced mountain guides, as part
of a group or a private guide can be hired to meet
your own personal
requirements.

costs for other transfers, chairlifts and cable cars
are not included in the

From May to October 2008, 6 days a week
The 'Wanderbus' opens up some fabulous circular tours like for example, from
the Bachlalm
via the Sulzenhals to the Sulzenalm or around the Rettenstein,
through the Tor, from the
Hofalm along the Linzer Weg to the Hofpürglhütte and
Aualm. From Neuberg there is also
a imposing hiking area over the Gerzkopf,
Sulzkaralm, Mahdalm and all without using your
car!
